IMPRISONMENT #3

All of the townspeople lay asleep in their beds, dreaming of better times and better places. Everything has been quiet lately... almost too quiet. The villagers know better to assume that anything has changed for the better. Some sleep restlessly while others are sleeping soundly.

Somewhere, someone wakes up with a fright. They sit up and stare at the wall, sweating from a terrible dream. They begin to lie back down, but something about the dream causes them to lay awake thinking for awhile...

Somewhere else, a team of Government Agents sneak towards the door of a citizen. They pick the lock stealthily. Guns cocked and handcuffs ready, they open the door silently and move in while the occupant lays asleep.

An agent in the back steps on a rubber ducky cat toy. It emits a piercing shriek which causes everybody's nerves to rise and all to pause, waiting for any ensuing reaction. No noise can be heard for a minute, so the agents continue forward.

They climb the stairs and arrive silently outside the bedroom door, ready to arrest their next victim.

The door creaks open.
